To commemorate its grand unveiling in Ohio and demonstrate its commitment to diversity in athletics, BetJack contributed a substantial $20,000 to Special Olympics Ohio.
BetJack vowed to equal customer wagers dollar for dollar up to $20,000 during the initial two hours of permissible sports wagering in the state, commencing at midnight on New Year’s Day.
This contribution will aid Special Olympics Ohio, which has participants in all 88 counties, furnish training and competition prospects throughout the year.
“This funding will empower our athletes to enhance their physical well-being, exhibit bravery, encounter joy, and impart their talents, abilities, and camaraderie with others,” stated Jessica Stewart, Special Olympics Ohio President and CEO.
“We are dedicated to sustaining this initiative through numerous organizations within our state and anticipate making a beneficial influence throughout Ohio,” remarked Brian Eby, Jack Entertainment President.
To inaugurate the new year, BetJack at the Jack Cleveland Casino received the first wager from Kristin Hoyer, Special Olympics Ohio’s Chief Development Officer.
Kristin placed a $68 wager on the Cleveland Cavaliers to secure the NBA championship, a tribute to the organization’s establishment year of 1968.
The Buckeye State’s entry into the world of sports wagering was met with tremendous enthusiasm! BetJack’s digital platform was inundated with a deluge of wagers, as eager bettors queued up in lengthy lines at the brick-and-mortar sportsbook located within Jack Cleveland Casino. Jack Thistledown Racino experienced a similar surge in activity. The venue was overflowing with patrons, and with an abundance of betting kiosks and large-screen televisions dispersed throughout, enthusiasts had numerous avenues to partake in the thrill.
